The Namesake -Jhumpa Lahiri

The NamesakeThe Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Something about this story feels deeply personal and relatable. It’s warm and cold, hopeful and depressing; there is a sweet pang. It’s an ordinary story about an ordinary family life but that along with the style in which the author weaves her words transform it into a beautiful experience.
