Concise with some humor. Greatly enjoyed reading this book and learnt quite a few things(some unexpected). Never thought there would be so much about chemistry in this book. I think I now appreciate chemistry far more than earlier. My favorite part was about “light” and the explanation on how we discovered and put to use invisible light. This book is good and objective; I plan to read it again. The best thing about this book I think is the fact that Tyson takes time to explain the tests and experiments conducted for us to arrive at any said conclusion (no matter how controversial). A person can deny/challenge/oppose a thesis or speculations but only a misguided and ignorant one will deny proofs and results unless they have another explanation with support strong enough to bring to the table.
