If everything went according to plan (which should totally happen as I have verified and re-verified before hitting the publish button), you should be able to see any one of my 32 pictures at random. I do not control which picture you are seeing, I just know It’s one of mine that I have uploaded on Unsplash that you are seeing on the set dimension of 1600 by 900.
Unsplash is a community of photographers who have each decided to gift some of their crafts. Basically, Unsplash will allow you to upload up to 10 photos on a weekly basis. The pictures can be used freely for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
I truly admire the concept; The contribution made by photographers has helped me a lot, whether it was personal projects or work related. Now that I have my DSLR and that I take pictures I have decided to contribute back to the community that has helped and inspired me. I have made my photos available on my unsplash profile for anyone to use.
Unsplash is also convenient for your blog/website. Uploading the hi-resolution photo on unsplash and embedding it on the website rather than uploading it on the blog/website itself allows you, in the long run, to save considerable memory space. If you are a photography fan or you often need good quality pictures for projects or work then check out unsplash.
As for me, this is just a first post. In my upcoming posts under ‘the creative corner’, I will be sharing contents I make (poem, stories, videos) and useful/noteworthy resources I use. I hope you will enjoy.
